I woke up at 3.30am this morning with a jolt. I remembered it was Thursday; the day I send out this newsletter, Impact Loop. I had not written a word. I could have pulled together a short, sharp leadership idea for you this morning and you would never have known. And I don’t want to sound like a saint, since that is precisely what I have done for a few weeks now. But today I stopped myself.
I appreciate the weekly wisdom and have wondered how you have time to do it.
I would prefer regular communications which may be slightly longer and perhaps move to every fortnight or every three weeks. Once a month may get lost in all the other monthly newsletters!
Kirstin, I learn from each of your articles. I am sure I will learn even more when you invest more in the writing. Less frequent with more substance seems like a good option.
Every newsletter is like a gift - and it works best when it works for you. Good luck with the book, and I look forward to when you have time and reason to send us your thoughts :)
If it works for you - then it will undoubtedly work for those who have subscribed! I’m sure those of us who follow you have done so, because your work has resonated and been meaningful - the very definition of ‘impact’ . So whenever you feel you have something meaningful to share, we’ll be ready to receive it! 💯
Focus on impact for you and for us... if that means book and irregular input, then I shall stop and read, knowing you have something to say. Go well, Kirstin.
Short and sharp is great, whenever you can do it, Kirsten! A week sure does come around quickly...
Sorry for the radio silence until now, but I love your thoughts every time they land in my inbox, I'm with Emma - it's just about the only subscription enews I read every time, and share with my networks, in particular my younger female colleagues, and colleagues in leadership :)
That means a lot Celia. Thanks so much - so glad to know it has had an 'impact'! Definitely won't be going anywhere but feeling relieved that I don't need to wake up in the middle of the night worrying about whether I have written the newsletter yet :) All the best, Kirstin
Whatever works best for you, enjoy reading your articles so just keep it coming as and when it is convenient for you. Btw, I have got a copy of your book Head & Heart, just started reading it…Welcome back again to North America and oh yes eh Canada! Take care!
Sure, will let you know once I finish reading the book, refreshing & captivating so far! Come again, Tulip festival in Ottawa mid May, the week before Victoria Day. Next time plan to visit Toronto. Would be so nice to meet you in person - take care!
I enjoy your posts Kirsten! But happy with whatever you choose re frequency - it's one of the only subscribing newsletters I always read and I share it with my networks too, especially the young women I'm a facilitator for in a structured coaching group. 😊
Wow - that means the world. Thanks so much Emma. I am definitely not going anywhere but good to know that I don't need to worry every Thursday morning :)
Honesty and adaptability. Where inspiration flows is the only way to go. Love your work and generosity. Looking forward to receiving the next edition as it feels right!

I agree with Richard - focus on the impact for you and us. What format works for you is important.
Thanks Abby, that is great to know :)

I am heading to Montreal in a few weeks - can't wait!
short, sharp, and as often (or not) as you like.
Love that. Thank you!

Happy with short and sharp but doesn't need to be weekly - I hope the travel has been great
Thank you!!
I would be happy with longer and or irregular, something that makes an impact on me does not have to be regular and weekly.
Great to know - thanks so much Michele :)

Love this comment Chloe, thank you so much!
I couldn't agree with Chloé more - beautifully put!
I love the impact loop, I love that it’s short and sharp. I’m happy if you went monthly on it.
Awesome - monthly feels a lot more achievable right now than weekly!
Be kind to yourself. ❤️
